Carrise Murray, QMHP
Mental Health Clinician
School Counselor
WRAP and EASA Program Coordinator
Carrise is a Master’s of Social Work intern and works as a school counselor and WRAP and EASA Program Coordinator for Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness. Carrise loves working with youth and helping them face the unique challenges and stressors that come with navigating through adolescence. Many adolescents experience anxiety and depression, and Carrise works with them to develop healthy coping skills and develop positive outlooks on life while working through their current struggles.
Carrise has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is currently working towards her Master’s in Social Work. Carrise also has many life experiences that aid in her ability to empathize and understand challenges people face, including being a veteran, a single mother, a grandmother, and a parent of youth who have struggled with losses, depression, and anxiety.
Sometimes, youth just need to feel listened to and appreciated, and Carrise works hard to ensure that the youth she is privileged to work with know they are valued and their voice matters.
