Missi Brown, LCSW and CADC1
Tele-health Clinician
Missi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC1). Missi has experience working with adolescents and adults. She is able to provide help in a wide range of areas including trauma, depression, anxiety, conflict in relationships, anger outbursts, cutting, thoughts of suicide, and addiction. Missi takes a psychodynamic approach which means she believes that many of the struggles people have today are a result of how we were raised, experiences we have had, and our attachment style (how we bonded with our parents/caregivers is how we tend to bond in relationships). This results in how we interpret the world, interpret relationships, how we behave and how we give and receive love and an emotional connection. Missi provides services with Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness via telehealth, so on a computer, smartphone, or another electronic device.
