Peer Support Specialist, Substance Use Disorder Program

Kimberly Botts is the Peer Support Specialist for the Substance Use Disorder Program. She brings a deep understanding and compassion to her role as someone who has lived with addiction and has recovered using the services at Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness. She knows first-hand the struggles individuals face in recovering from addiction and knows how challenging that road can be. Yet, she wants you to know she is here for you no matter what. She is here with an open mind and heart and would love to sit with you and hear your story and help you on your path.

Kimberly has pretty much been a caregiver her whole life – starting at Wallowa County Nursing home, providing in-home and after surgery care, and working at Eastern Oregon Psychiatric and Training Center. Helping others and empowering them to reach their life goal is her mission in life. She truly believes she has found the right place and the right career to do this with the love and compassionate it deserves. Come sit down with Kimberly and discover how a peer can help you on your road to recovery.
