Rebecca has been working at Wallowa River House since 2011 working as a caregiver, med aide, and assistant administrator. Rebecca enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of others at WRH and give them opportunities to have a more fulfilled life.

Jack Deal
Caregiver

While attending EOU in pursuit of an Elementary Education degree, Jack started working at Wallowa River House (WRH) to help support his family. After working at WRH for a while he realized that WRH was where he wanted to be.

Jodie has been married for 15 years to her husband Eric, they have 4 children and one grandson. She acquired a BSN in Nursing, is a CNA2, and has over 30 years of experience working in the health-care field as a CNA and in home care. She transitioned to Mental Health in 2008 when she joined Wallowa River house and has not regretted the change. Over the past 10 years Jodie has held different job titles at the WRH, mainly medication aid, and caregiver, and while her title might change the amount of care and commitment to her residents she provides does not.

Head Cook

Rheesa is a mother of two boys and has been a team member for Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness at the Wallowa River House for the past six years. In that time she has shown her skills in adapting to different roles from caregiver to cook and now manages the kitchen as Head Cook. Rheesa’s determination to our resident’s well-being goes above and beyond. She continues to offer outstanding support for not only the residents but for her co-workers as well. When Rheesa is not assisting with the care of our residents she enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the coast.

Skills Trainer

Linda came to Wallowa River House (WRH) on December 26, 2012. She worked with people with dementia for 5 years prior to coming to WRH. Before moving to Wallowa County a twenty year career in Retail Management and and an Elementary Education Degree were accomplished. In addition to being a skill trainer for Wallowa River House Linda takes care of her 86 year old father. Linda considers the last 7.5 years to be a blessing. She has never worked in a job as rewarding, working with our residents and making a difference in their lives. To see the look on their face when accomplishing a goal such as understanding their finances and being successful. The team work at Wallowa River House is just that, everyone does what it takes for our residents to have a better life through physical and mental health.

Caregiver

Linda is a caregiver and cook at Wallowa River House. She was born and raised in Wallowa and is married with a 15 year old daughter, 27 year old son and 32 year old step-daughter. Linda enjoys working on the ranch with her husband, hiking and exploring.

Tanya Burns
Caregiver

Tanya is a caregiver at Wallowa River House. Tanya has lived in Wallowa for 40 years now. She has a husband and three grown boys and one daughter-in-law. She loves to spend her time going to concerts and camping with all of my family and my two dogs. She has worked mostly in customer service but decided to change things up and applied for a spot at Wallow River House. She finds it a nice to work at a place that puts a smile on her face!

Johnnie enjoys working in this field because he gets to help and spend time with the residents. He says it doesn't matter what kind of mood he is in when he shows up at work, the residents always make him feel happier.

Hunter is excited to be working for Wallowa River House again. She enjoys getting to know each of the residents. It is nice to work with so many familiar faces and getting to know the new residents.
