Wraparound Care Coordinator & Case Manager
Jacklyn Jenson is the Wraparound Care Coordinator and Youth Case Manager. She will help guide teams to support the needs of individual youth and their families through a strength-based process. Using a strength-based process, youth and families will use skills and resources they already have and that will directly support their emotional, physical, and mental health needs. Jacklyn wants families to feel comfortable when working with her. Jacklyn strives to achieve this by being positive and open-minded. Her hope is to guide youth in building resiliency skills and for families to overcome barriers together through positive thinking and actions.
Although she is not an original to Wallowa County, she did go to high school here. Then she attended college in Ellensburg, Washington. Throughout that time, Jacklyn discovered her professional goals and her passion of working with youth and families. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies- Social Sciences and a minor in Social Services, which has given her the opportunity to gain skills in different areas of expertise in working with families in several settings.
She looks forward to being able to serve this community in the most encouraging ways possible. It is important in her life to seek self-fulfillment so she hopes to help others do this as well.
