Kathryn strongly believes in the healing power of personal relationships, as well as the unique capacity of small communities to support their own. Having grown up in Wallowa County, she is very excited to join the diverse team of professionals who help our kids explore their world and accomplish their goals. Kathryn loves working with kids and teens to discover their sense of power, purpose and connection with others. If you are a student, she will help you draw upon all your strengths and passions to create peace, direction, and confidence in tackling the challenges before you. If you are a parent, or teacher, or guardian, she will join you as a teammate to support of your child and serve as a resource for comfort, problem-solving and re-imagining the future for your family. She especially loves incorporating creative arts, nature/animals, movement, and mindfulness into the healing journey. In her free time, she can be found with poetry books, tea, cats, and yoga mats, ideally all underneath a large tree.
