WRAP Youth Peer Support (0.5 FTE):  A Young Adult Wraparound Support Partner empowers youth, and young adults with behavioral, mental health, and other challenges by providing a variety of recovery-oriented services to individuals who have self-identified as desiring peer support, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery for mental wellness. Services provided by young adult wrap around support partners include a wide range of supports, services, and advocacy that contributes to emerging adult’s journey into self-reliance. Med Aid Night Shift at Wallowa River House:  Provides services and supports which help residents develop appropriate skills to increase or maintain their level of functioning. These services may include: mental health services, rehabilitation services, social services, personal services, medical, dental and other health care services, educational services, financial management support services, legal services, vocational services, transportation, recreational and leisure activities, and other services required to meet resident needs as defined in the guidelines of the Residential Service Plan. Employment Specialist (0.5 FTE): Carries out the services of the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Supported Employment program by assisting clients in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals.Be patient and comfortable relating to individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Be hopeful about every person’s ability to succeed in employment. Be someone who can think of more than one possible solution to a problem. Be able to present him or herself in a professional and confident manner. May have a gregarious, “sales” personality or may be quiet, yet persistent. Be a good listener—interested in learning about other people. Willing and able to provide adequate written documentation of services rendered in order to satisfy Federal and State requirements.
