Join Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness and Wallowa County Veterans Services as we honor Veterans in Wallowa County.

We are hosting a series of dinners in May and June in each town. Come have a meal on us, connect with other Veterans, and get a goodie bag of resources.

Thanks to Chuckwagon Sisters who will provide a wonderful meal of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, and more.

Suicide prevention starts with you. Learn how you can prevent suicide. Get trained on how to recognize the signs of suicide and how to talk to someone who might be at risk of suicide.

This is a FREE training and open to the public. By registering, we will also send a virtual link and you can decide if you want to attend in-person or online.

You are more likely to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack. Learn how to help a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor in need. Get trained today in Mental Health First Aid.

This free training includes a workbook and snacks. Class size is limited.

We encourage anyone who has a Veteran in their life to come to the training. We highly recommend the Veteran come with the person they would reach out to when they need to talk.

A guest speaker will also share their personal experience on this issue and what worked to support them when they were struggling.
