Kelly is a License Professional Counselor. Kelly enjoys working with teens and adults – specifically individuals who are going through life transitions like school changes, graduation, preparing for college, recent moves, financial changes, job changes, job loss, retirement, preparing for marriage, break ups, loss of loved one (including pets).
Many times when one goes through a life change they can often experience anxiety and/or depression. Kelly works with you to understand what is causing the symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Then, she helps you to identify tools to decrease and/or mange the symptoms of anxiety and/or depression so you can achieve a sense of balance and joy again.
She also works with female teens. Kelly understands the challenges young female teens face: bullying, self-esteem, family and friend struggles, finding their own sense of self, and growing their independence while maintaining healthy connections with friends, family, coaches, teachers, pastors, etc. She can help female teens navigate this time of their life with grace and confidence.
Lastly, Kelly has experiences working with veterans and their families. She has nearly 15 years’ experience between face to face and crisis counseling working with veterans and their families and have first-hand knowledge of the challenges loved ones face while in a relationship with a veteran. She can help you and your family navigate the nuances and specific challenges that you face as a veteran or loved one of a veteran.
