Breeze Thies, QMHA
WRAP Care Coordinator & Family Support Partner
Breeze Thies worked at the front desk at Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness for 9 months before joining the WRAP team as a Care Coordinator and Family Partner. She came to us with experience with youth in settings such as daycares, hospitals, private care settings, and Public Services offices. Previous to joining our team she was home with her son while caring for other small children and attending college on line. For the 7 years prior she was employed with the Enterprise Department of Human Services as an Office Support Specialist and a Human Service Specialist.
Breeze grew up in the Wallowa Mountains and has returned a couple of times after attending schools in Oregon and Montana. She has an associate degree with an emphasis on social work, child development, and family systems. She plans to continue her education while enhancing her knowledge and expanding her opportunities within the agency.
Her passion for helping others and working with children has led her on missions to Guatemala and Bangladesh. She assists clients in a time of need using active listening and an open heart. Her experience navigating many systems both professionally and personally along with her education and training help her in both her peer support role as a family partner and as a WRAP Care Coordinator.
