When you walk into one of our offices, you will find Darci’s friendly face. She brings 35 years of customer service experience to Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness. Her position bridges the gap with front office and billing. She will work with clients and front office staff to address a variety of billing needs. Her goal is to bring a calming atmosphere to everyone at our office and to help individuals feel at ease with us or on the phone. She loves working with such a diverse group and how well everyone works together to help clients. She learns something new every day either from clients or staff. Darci refills her cup by enjoying time with her family and immersing herself into her photography.

Project Director

Johna comes from a medical background as a medical assistant. She worked for many years in the health care field and decided to make a change in careers and work with a different population. She has a vast background in working directly with clients but also in helping create workflows, train in the electronic medical record (EMR) program, and facilitate meetings.

Residential Specialist

As the Residential Specialist for Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness, Hannah oversees the operations of one our residential treatment homes for individuals with severe or persistent mental illness Using her strong management skills, Hannah provides training, coaching and supervision to staff who provide 24-hour residential support services. Hannah also maintains state-mandated budgets, personal client financial accounts and is proficient in coordinating care staff and medical staff to provide love-filled care. Hannah’s empathy and experience allow her to push the mission and values of Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness.

Morning Star Kohlhepp
Integration Specialist

Morning Star comes to us with a varied background in finance, customer service, and the medical field. She is excited to be part of our team and help staff learn tools like OCHIN to track care and work with community partners on public health issues.

She moved back to Wallowa County about 11 years ago. She is married to one of our local police officers and together they have six children and 5 grandchildren. She recently moved down to their property in Wallowa and is working on making it their forever home to raise their youngest son.

Darren brings almost thirty years of experience to Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness from a variety of industries. Specializing in a variety of systems and having an innate nature to understand how things work, there are not many things Darren has been unable to repair or diagnose. Throughout his years of service, his knowledge base has expanded across a wide spectrum of repairs. Having these talents allows him to properly maintain, manage and foresee problems often before they even arise. Darren has brought forth a predictive and preventive maintenance scheme that allows all facilities to run smoothly, with minimal concerns and rapid repairs when needed.
