Wendy McDaniel

Although Wendy spent several years working in the field of social work, she often found herself incorporating accounting into her work. Wendy received a bachelor of science in social work from the University of Oregon. With this combination, coming to work at Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness seemed like a natural fit.

Even though Wendy does not provide direct service. She is quick to step in and help. Many times helping staff get supplies for their meetings or cleaning up after their events. The love and support she provides to our staff is genuine and you know she will do whatever she can to help the organization provide love-filled care even behind the scenes. She loves Wallowa County - this place and its people, like family.

Wendy’s self-care includes spending time with family, her kids, and three spoiled dogs, biking, hiking, watching college sports and Cub games, farming and working in her yard. She was born and raised here and has always considered Wallowa County her home.
