Director of Nursing Services
Ranzie Barney, RN
With over two decades of nursing experience, Ranzie brings a deep commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. Her career has spanned rural and critical access hospitals, where she’s taken on a variety of leadership roles. She earned her LPN and RN through Columbia Basin College and later completed her BSN at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Most recently, she worked at the Washington State Penitentiary, where she was instrumental in launching an Urgent Care program for adults incarcerated—an experience that reinforced her commitment to expanding access to behavioral health services.
Outside of nursing, Ranzie is happiest in the outdoors and with family. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring the mountains with her husband and their animals, and is an active volunteer with the Humane Society.
