Josey Ross

Josey is a proud Wallowa County native, having grown up in the glow of these beautiful mountains. A graduate of Joseph Charter School, she initially started her professional journey in Lewiston, ID, but the mountains soon beckoned her home. Embracing her love for the outdoors, family, and ranch life, Josey and her husband decided to settle down and establish their roots in the community.

Bringing over five years of valuable experience as a healthcare professional, Josey seamlessly transitioned into the role of Human Resources Assistant at WVCW in 2021. Her background in the medical field uniquely positioned her to comprehend both the administrative and client-focused aspects of the position. Eager to excel, she dedicated time to attending relevant trainings, refining her skills in recruiting, onboarding new hires, and elevating staff retention strategies.With her continued dedication and exemplary performance, Josey has recently been promoted to the role of Human Resources Generalist, becoming an integral part of the Human Resources team.  Her genuine passion for her community and her dedication to WVCW shine through in every aspect of her work.
