Geunia Funches is a licensed master social worker with a concentration in family and children and military veterans. Geunia’s approach to providing love-filled care is based on active listening. She understands that when someone seeks services, what they need is someone to actually listen to them because people in the outside world do not understand what is going on with them and what they are experiencing. Geunia understands that you’re here to be heard and she is here to listen. She likes to build a plan for you that builds on the skills that you already have that can be used to help you improve your overall wellness. She works with your personal level of comfortability and self-awareness. Geunia is highly skilled in working with many populations including those in the military and veterans, youth and adolescents, and those 65 and over.
