Chris Schaeffer

Christina Schaeffer serves as WVCW’s Electronic Medical Record Support Analyst, helping support the systems, data, and day-to-day processes that keep the electronic medical record running smoothly. With a strong eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, Chris works across a wide range of needs, from EMR support and charting to data projects and the many behind-the-scenes details that help staff do their work.

Chris brings a diverse background to her role. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, is licensed in equine massage, and has experience in social work along with 11 years as a medical assistant. She also earned both her Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) and Community Health Worker (CHW) certifications in 2024.

A Wallowa County native, Chris has a deep appreciation for the rural lifestyle and the community she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, barrel racing, and spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and lively pack of canine companions.
