Director of Housing Solutions
Cheryl Harrod
Cheryl loves Eastern Oregon and everything that it is! As someone who grew up in Baker City, she has always called Eastern Oregon home. Her love for the region led her and her husband to raise their family here, where they could be part of a caring, close-knit community. Now, as the Director of Housing Solutions at Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness, Cheryl uses her background in commercial lending and the medical field to support individuals in securing housing and rebuilding their lives. “I believed I could use my skills to help people get back on their feet, and that’s exactly what drew me to this role,” she explains.
In her free time, Cheryl can often be found volunteering at local events like Chief Joseph Days Rodeo or the Eagle Cap Extreme dog sled race. A passionate advocate for giving back, she believes volunteers are the backbone of any thriving community. When she’s not volunteering, she loves to explore the great outdoors and encourages everyone to experience the beauty of Wallowa County. “Our county has so much to offer—get out there and enjoy its splendor!”
